Houston Make Room, Cause There's One More Mac in Town!

Gallery Furniture and the Houston Zoo want to celebrate one of the newest attractions to come to town. It's Mac, no not this Mack, a baby Asian elephant that already weighs a whopping 1,000 pounds! On July 10th, in honor of Mac hitting the 1,000 pound mark, GF offered a $1,000 shopping spree to the 1,000th person waiting in line at the entrance of the Houston Zoo.

The lucky winner was Martha Sexton! Congratulations Martha! GF welcomes you and your family to come on down to our store and find the furniture you always wanted!

Thanks for the response. I understand your disappointment in not taking Vince Young. I made and own three "Draft Vince" shirts that I stopped wearing when David Carr's option was picked up in February 2006. I figured by then it was not really financially feasible under the salary cap to pick VY with the top spot.

Gallery Furniture continues to be a proud sponsor of the Houston Texans in 2007. Yes, we had the Gallery Furniture name removed from the stadium, but our plan is to move marketing dollars from that bricks and mortar sign to online, including advertising on the Texans website.

Yes, I was disappointed when the Texans did not take Vince Young, but I have gotten over it and am looking forward to cheering for the Texans as they have a great year in 2007!

I saw that Gallery Funiture's name is no longer on one of the gates at Reliant Stadium. Does Gallery Furniture no longer support the Texans because Vince Young wasn't chosen by the Texans?
